"Highland Cattle New Zealand" - Glenloch Fold

 | Small Beginnings
|
Our small fold in Rotorua was lush with grass
, so what do we need to graze our pastures. Dijon the
Dog only ate grass as medicine, Ginger the Goat ate the flowers and Piwee the sheep
drank milk. |

 | What you need said a friend.
|
Some coos to graze those pastures. But what !! we asked. Around here all you see
is Dairy Cows. How about some Highland Cross Cows? They will eat your grass. And so our
Fold evolved.

We went the AI way, the technician even said "A Bottle of Whisky if they're not
all pregnant" We never did get that Bottle. But the next year our luck would
change and three Calves were born. Yippee they're all, OH NO, BULL'S.

resist. The hammer down and yes she's all yours. |
 | Bull's in the night.
|
AI, we got it right, we'll just run a backup Bull. The time went by, the due date
passed, and so the evidence arrived. One hundred percent heifers, the numbers grew.
